On this walk to Emmaus, I have recognized you in the breaking of the bread, and in the words and actions of all of the people associated with this special time in my life. I have witnessed your awesome power, felt your glorious grace and experienced your forgiveness. I understand your message more plainly now than I have ever before. I have accepted you into my heart in a new way. Help me a pilgrim, who has failed You in the past, realize, that if I put my faith and trust in You, your love and grace will see me through even the darkest times. Thank you God for being there and listening to and answering my prayers. Amen

P.S. God, thank you for caring.
